Back in 2008, Erie Insurance renamed their magazine for Policyholders, calling it Eriesense. Why? Because we wanted ERIE, and your insurance, to make sense to you. As the tag line says: Your life. Your insurance. Your magazine.
In the third issue (Fall 2008), we surveyed readers to see how it was working. Many readers told us what they liked and how we might make it even better.
Most importantly, of the 2,082 readers who responded, 76 percent said they took some form of action after reading, such as calling their Agents, doing home inventories or changing driving habits.
To us, that means the magazine is doing its job, helping our readers make better decisions about their safety and financial security. Here are some of the other comments offered by readers:
“Thank you! I’ve learned a lot from Eriesense. Enjoy Erie Insurance and my Agent. We’re glad we switched to Erie Insurance.” —Regina E.
“‘At the Heart of Life Insurance’ is so truly interesting to my eyes.” —Boyd W.
“I always read everything in every issue. Pitt Magazine and Eriesense are the only two pubs in which I read everything.” —Ardith R.
“Great info. I learn something every time!” —Ximena E.
“I was impressed with your publication Eriesense, as it includes helpful information, not all a sales pitch. Thank you for your consideration of your clients.” —Meg D.
“Keep the articles coming, very interesting and noteworthy.” —Barbara W.
“I have always looked forward to getting the magazine from ERIE—I hope you will continue it.” —Stephanie B.
“I don't generally read magazines from companies, but this was interesting and informative. Thanks!” —Kathy N.
