Lookin' Out is created by teens for teens — all you need to get started is a group of teenagers wanting to take an active role in raising awareness about safe driving.
Do you already have a SADD club or other, similar group promoting responsible decisions?
Great! Then you're ready to start.
Here's how it works:
- Formulate a plan: Students meet and review the Lookin' Out Guide to Getting Started
and the Lookin' Out Activity Guide , and then decide what awareness activities are likely to have the greatest impact on their peers.
- Complete an application: After selecting the events your school will perform during the school year, complete the Lookin' Out Grant Application
. Be sure to include any expenses you will incur, including any Lookin' Out Gear you want to purchase.
- Submit the application: Applications are submitted to Erie Insurance. Grant funding is awarded to schools that demonstrate a plan to promote safe driving messages to their peers throughout the year.
