Can I make changes to my policy online?

Not at this time. Because making a change to your policy may raise other issues, and require additional changes, you should contact your Erie Insurance Agent. As experienced insurance professionals, your Agent or agency representative can help you make important decisions about your insurance. He or she can also advise you about how the changes you are making may affect your premium.

What is an insurance audit?

The Insurance audit is a process common to the workers compensation insurance industry. ERIE performs an audit to ensure you have paid no more than appropriate premium for your exposure. Bill Payment

Besides mailing my payment, how can I pay my insurance bill?

For your convenience, we offer many options for paying your premium. You can pay by phone, online or through direct debit from your checking or savings account.

Automated phone payment*: Call (800) 387-1492 to make payments using your checking account, your debit card, or your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards.  (Regulations in Maryland, North Carolina, and New York, however, prevent us from offering the credit card payment option at this time.)
* A nominal convenience fee is charged by the vendor on each policy payment made by phone.

Online: Use our One-Time Payment Service to make your payment free of charge from your checking account, savings account, ATM/debit card, or Visa or MasterCard.

Direct Debit: Sign up with your Erie Insurance Agent for ERIExpressPay or Chek-Matic — our recurring monthly direct debit programs. ERIExpressPay is available for new and existing personal and eligible business policies.* Chek-Matic  is available for  Life insurance payments.   Payment drawn automatically from your checking or savings account makes paying your insurance effortless.  To find your Agent’s contact information, use our Agent Locator.
