Feb. 10, 2010 - ERIE raised just shy of a million dollars companywide, including the corporate gift, for the recent United Way campaign.
The Home Office and Erie Branch total was more than $681,000, and field office totals reached $318,000.
United Way is a charitable organization that focuses on broad-impact, systemic change in the areas of education, poverty and public health.
Bill Jackson, United Way of Erie County president, recently thanked ERIE’s Employees, both in the Home Office and the field, for being a part of that change.
“Together, we can advance the common good and change what we see in our world,” Bill said. That’s what it means to ‘live united.’”
