Founded in Royersford, Pennsylvania, in 1984, Konell Insurance relocated to Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, in 1994 and has remained there ever since. The agency prides itself with having qualified, educated and fully licensed staff with over 100 years of combined insurance experience to draw on. Experience and Education

Principal agent and agency owner Chris Konell has a history in the insurance field. With over 36 years of experience, he first began his career in insurance at Erie Insurance as a claims adjuster before becoming an agent. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University as well as the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Chris isn’t the only one who values continuing education. Every member of his seven-person staff holds a Pennsylvania Insurance License. They also attend continuing education classes annually to enhance their expertise.

Konell Insurance is a three- time F.W. Hirt Quality Agency Award winner. In addition to providing their customers with exceptional service, the agency believes in giving back to the local community. Chris is a member of the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce. He also supports a number of organizations including the Colonial Theater and Mainline Animal Rescue.

Konell Insurance is located just off the intersection of Valley Forge Road and Kleyona Avenue on Valley Forge Road in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The town itself is the historical home of the defunct Phoenix Iron & Steel Company.
