Founders Susie & Charlie Peterson were long time sponsors of several local youth sports leagues and community organizations. They started sponsoring the Haverford Football Followers in the late 1990’s when both of their sons played for Haverford High School. Their daughter Maggie and her husband Ted who are now the current owners, are proud to continue to sponsor several local organizations. The agency has continued its sponsorship of several youth teams such as the Brookline Baseball and Softball League (which is located just a few blocks away from Peterson Insurance's office) and also the Hilltop Baseball and Softball League. Peterson Insurance has also supported the Haverford High School Sports Hall of Fame for over ten years. Haverford Township Day has been another annual event that Peterson has donated to with funds going towards Haverford Township Parks & Recreation Dept. Maggie still remembers helping to work the booth at Haverford Township Day when she was in elementary school.
