They are also a corporate member of the Daviess County Museum, Friends of the Carnegie Library, and Washington Rotary Club. They are proud to sponsor Youth Sports at the local YMCA and are active volunteers in the CEO Leadership Class. They have also been past volunteers in the local Jr Achievement classes. Terri has been recognized for her volunteer work in the community and has served on numerous boards and committees.

The agency has been recognized with awards since opening their doors in 2011. Terri Kelso Insurance has received the Readers Choice Award in 2014 and in 2018 for Best Insurance Agency from the Washington Times Herald. Terri also won the Readers Choice Award in 2018 for Best Agent from the Washington Times Herald. They have won five Founders Awards from Erie Insurance. They were also recognized as 1 of 15 agencies in Indiana to achieve the Branch Elite Status in 2020.
