Erie Insurance sells auto, home, life and business insurance through our network of independent agents in 12 states and the District of Columbia. Royal Crest Agency was established in 1993 and moved to their Tipp City, Ohio, location in 2006.

Education, Community Involvement and Outstanding Service

Principal agent Phillip Cox has over 30 years of insurance experience. Phillip is the president of Royal Crest Marketing—which owns the Royal Crest Agency. He was voted “Citizen and Small Business of the Year” in Tipp City in 2007 by the Tipp City Chamber of Commerce and council. Phillip earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from Bowling Green State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Dayton. He is also very involved in his community with organizations such as:

• The Rotary Club (former president)
• Chamber of Commerce (former president)
• Athletic Boosters (former president)
• United Way (former board member)

Phillip and his six-person staff focus on building relationships as well as offering advice and solutions for all of their clients’ unique insurance needs. Together, they serve over 2,500 clients at the agency and have combined experience of more than 90 years.
