Erie Insurance sells auto, home, life and business insurance through our network of independent agents in 12 states and the District of Columbia. Masters Insurance Group was established in 1992 in Forest Hills, Pennsylvania, by a mother-son duo, a rarity in the insurance industry. When you become a customer with them, you become part of the family.
Principal agent Bob Masters has been in the insurance industry for 23 years. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Life underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation and is an active member of the Insurance Club of Pittsburgh.
He and his late mother, Janet Masters, started the agency from scratch together and had the distinction of being one of the few mother-son operated agencies with ERIE. Over the years, they molded a creditable, well-respected business within their community. They were co-owners until Janet’s untimely passing in March 2015. She is fondly remembered by many clients, friends and family members.
Customers of Masters Insurance Agency experience personable and helpful service each and every time they call or visit the agency.
“We stay relevant by continuously building relations with our customers and always treating them like family,” Bob said.
