Maria’s Message Continues the Fight Against Distracted Driving

Since 2014, Columbus, Ohio, television sports anchor Dom Tiberi has encouraged thousands of teen drivers to stop driving distracted. The message is personal for Dom, who lost his daughter, Maria, in a 2013 distracted driving accident.

Dom, who also prompted Ohio state lawmakers to declare September as Distracted Driving Month, continues to touch hearts and change lives. Just one person impacted by his message was high-school student Benjamin Kansas. See in the video below how the teen is taking action against distracted driving after Dom visited his school.

Erie Insurance is proud to continue its support of Maria’s Message by being the official sponsor of Dom’s visits to more than 25 high schools this spring and fall. Recently, ERIE accompanied Dom to an Ohio high school.
