The holiday season is a busy time. There are gifts to buy, parties to attend and all those jam-packed parking lots to navigate.

Amid the hustle and bustle, don’t forget to show your appreciation to the service providers in your life. Many of them depend heavily on the holiday tipping they receive at the end of the year.

Holiday tipping, however, can be confusing. It’s hard to know who should get a tip–and how much they should receive. You have to keep in mind how often–and how long–you’ve used someone’s services. Some service providers like mail carriers are not permitted to accept gifts above a certain limit.
