A Dedicated Support Team

As an ERIE Agent, you’ll have access to all levels of employees and support locally from ERIE’s field offices. Your personal support team includes a local branch manager, your own district sales manager and underwriters and risk control consultants. With their product knowledge, industry experience and operational expertise, this team will provide you with a tremendous amount of support. Whether you’re writing new business or refining your agency’s business plan, we’ll be there to help.

We also have employees in customer service and IT dedicated to answering your questions about business matters or ERIE systems. Providing quality service and information to our agents is an important priority for us.

Claims service

When it comes time to help a customer recover from an accident or a natural disaster, you’ll be backed by our trained claims team—24/7. Our employees are ready to settle claims quickly and fairly. They also keep pace with emerging property and automotive trends and new loss adjustment tools and techniques through ongoing training. With all this expertise, you can count on ERIE to help your customers get back on track after a loss.

Ease of doing business

With our quick turnaround on quotes and policies, we make it easy for you to do business. You’ll have access to proprietary systems and software so you can process quotes, applications, endorsements and renewals online from your office. We also offer eSignature options for customers, and we will handle your billing and payment collections.

Through our agent website, you’ll have access to product information, current rates, marketing materials and online training. Technical innovations are also important to us. We’re always looking for ways to improve our processes to provide better service for our agents and customers.

We also offer professional development programs at our state-of-the-art Technical Learning Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. At 52,000 square feet, the center is among the largest training facilities in the industry with a fully functional auto shop and a full-scale, three-story model home. The center offers agents and employees hands-on training for assessing and underwriting personal and commercial risks and adjusting a variety of claims.


We offer a complete portfolio of auto, home, business and life insurance products. All of our policies offer plenty of features and affordable coverages that are built right in, plus lots of extras to help customers customize their coverages even further. Some of our insurance policies have features and discounts that you may not find anywhere else.

Financial support

We offer several financial assistance programs designed to help qualifying candidates start a business. Other programs help established insurance agencies looking to hire more staff or open additional office locations.
