Erie, Pa. (October 12, 2016) - Erie Indemnity Company (NASDAQ: ERIE) today announced financial results for the quarter ending September 30, 2016. Net income was $57.4 million, or $1.09 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2016, compared to $49.6 million, or $0.94 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2015. Net income was $164.6 million, or $3.14 per diluted share, in the first nine months of 2016, compared to $144.5 million, or $2.75 per diluted share, in the first nine months of 2015.
