Dionne Wallace Oakley

Dionne Wallace Oakley serves as executive vice president, Human Resources and Strategy. Her oversight includes human resources, communications, strategy and innovation.

Wallace Oakley came to Erie Insurance in 2011 as vice president, HR Business Partners. Prior to that, she had a 22-year career at State Farm where she progressed through multiple positions and disciplines including personal lines underwriting, commercial lines service, auto claims, corporate public affairs, agent recruiting and human resources, across multiple geographies.

At ERIE, Wallace Oakley most recently served as senior vice president of Human Resources. She enhanced efforts to deliver contemporary human resources practices and has led ERIE’s Great Place to Work initiative since 2012. She is also the sponsor of the company’s Workforce of the Future priority initiative.

Wallace Oakley earned a dual bachelor’s degree in marketing and business from Delaware State University and a master’s in human resource development from Towson University in Baltimore. She is active in the community, serving on the boards of the Erie Community Foundation, Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board, Team Pennsylvania, and the United Way of Erie County Resources Committee. Wallace Oakley is also a member of the HR Policy Association, the lead public policy organization of chief human resource officers.
