Sarah Shine, CPCU, FCAS, serves as executive vice president of Experience and Customer Service at Erie Insurance.
In her role, she leads teams that bring together strategy, design, and delivery to strengthen trust, operational excellence, and long-term performance. Her 25+ year ERIE career includes roles in Pricing, Underwriting, and Product, spanning both commercial and personal lines. She is known for building high-performing teams, fostering transparency and inclusion, and translating insight into measurable outcomes.
Shine serves on the Department of Management & Organization Advisory Board in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the Saint Vincent Hospital Board of Directors.
She holds a degree in Mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
