Erie Insurance Named to Forbes List of America’s Best-In-State Insurance Companies 2021

Rankings were based on an independent survey of 20,000 U.S. citizens on their experience across five personal lines insurance products

ERIE, PA (September 30, 2020) – Erie Insurance has been recognized as part of Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best-In-State Insurance Companies 2021. ERIE was one of only a few carriers to earn awards in all five product categories.

ERIE ranked among the best-in-state auto insurers in Indiana, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Residents of Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania also ranked ERIE among the best-in-state for homeowners insurance.

ERIE was named to the list of best-in-state renters insurance companies by in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Erie Insurance’s term and whole life insurance products, offered by Erie Family Life, also earned honors in Pennsylvania.

Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best-In-State Insurances Companies based on an independent survey of approximately 20,000 U.S. citizens spread across all states. Participants were asked to rate insurers they have policies with according to their overall recommendation and satisfaction. The participants were also asked to assess insurers according to transparency, damage-benefit service, price-performance ratio, customer service, and financial advice.

Erie Insurance also appears on Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers 2020, Best Employers for Women, Best Employers for Diversity and America’s Best Employers lists.
