Erie Insurance promotes Angelino Kramer to vice president and Canton branch manager

Kramer has served as senior district sales manager in ERIE’s Canton, Ohio branch since 2014

ERIE, Pa., August 6, 2021Erie Insurance (ERIE) has promoted Angelino Kramer to vice president and branch manager for ERIE’s Canton, Ohio branch. Kramer has served as a senior district sales manager (DSM) in Canton since 2014 and also assumed the role of ERIE’s state commercial insurance manager for Ohio in 2021.

Kramer succeeds Fred Johnson, who was appointed vice president and branch manager for ERIE's Wisconsin branch in July.

Kramer began his insurance career as a scratch captive agent for Nationwide Insurance in Philadelphia before joining ERIE’s DSM program in 2013. Kramer was appointed to northeast Ohio and supported ERIE agents in the Cleveland territory during his time as DSM.
He was nominated to participate in ERIE’s Explore leadership program and is also a recipient of the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters President’s CPCU Scholarship.

An active leader in the company and community, Kramer has served on the leadership boards of ERIE’s CamaradERIE, Multigenerational Affinity Network and is a member of the Asian Pacific Islander Affinity Network. He is also involved with The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lifeline Sports and CLE Food Bank, among other organizations in northeast Ohio.

A 2010 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), Kramer earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and played football for the Crimson Hawks.

“I am pleased that Angel has accepted this role leading the Canton branch sales team,” said Rick Gordon, vice president and regional officer for ERIE’s west region. “Over the years, Angel has established such strong relationships with the Canton branch’s agency force and he has also mentored new DSMs and coached in ERIE’s Producer Overdrive program.”

Kramer’s appointment is effective August 19.
