Newsweek names Erie Insurance one of ‘America’s Best Customer Service Companies’ for 2022

Newsweek asked consumers to rate brands on customer service quality, professionalism, available services, customer focus and accessibility

ERIE, Pa., September 2, 2021Erie Insurance (ERIE) has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Customer Service Companies for 2022. The recognition will be listed in the September 3 issue of Newsweek magazine and is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry rankings provider.

“We are excited to again be included on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Customer Service brands,” said Lorianne Feltz, executive vice president of claims and customer service for Erie Insurance. “Being Above all in Service has been part of the fabric of Erie Insurance since we were founded in 1925 and we are proud of our exceptional claims and customer service reputation.”

America’s Best Customer Service brands were selected based on an independent survey of more than 25,000 U.S. consumers who have either made purchases, used services or gathered information about companies in the past three years. Customers were asked whether they would recommend brands to friends or family and to evaluate brands in the following areas: quality of communication, professional competence, range of services, customer focus and accessibility.

A total of 160,000 customer evaluations were collected on brick and mortar, online retailers and service providers from 161 brand categories.

Erie Insurance was also recognized for excellent customer service by Newsweek on the 2021 list.
