Erie Insurance Names Tim Haseleu Branch Manager for Raleigh, North Carolina

ERIE, Pa., February 15, 2022 – Erie Insurance (ERIE) has named Tim Haseleu as vice president and branch manager for ERIE’s Raleigh, N.C. branch. Haseleu most recently served as a senior district sales manager in the company’s Pittsburgh branch.

Haseleu will succeed Teresa Young, who has served a dual role leading both the Raleigh and Charlotte branches since 2017. ERIE’s growth in North Carolina under Young created an opportunity to appoint a new branch manager for Raleigh. Young will continue to lead ERIE’s Charlotte branch.

Haseleu began his ERIE career in 1996 as a multilines claims adjuster. In 1998, he was promoted to district sales manager in the Pittsburgh branch and was named a senior district sales manager in 2001.

“Tim has a consistent track record of profitably growing and appointing quality agents within his district and building strong relationships with his agents and sales team colleagues,” said Mark Banks, regional vice president of ERIE’s southeast region. “I am excited to see Tim build on the strong market share growth and success that Teresa established in Raleigh.”

Haseleu is a graduate of Robert Morris University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) insurance designations and has been an active participant in ERIE’s Accelerated Leadership Program.Haseleu’s new leadership role in Raleigh will be effective March 3.
