ERIE was one of only 79 organizations worldwide to earn ‘2024 BEST Award’
Erie Insurance (ERIE) has been recognized with a 2024 BEST Award from the Association of Talent Development (ATD) for its industry-leading learning and development culture.
Established in 2003, ATD’s BEST Awards are the talent development industry’s most rigorous and coveted recognitions. The awards acknowledge large and small private, public and not-for-profit organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success through talent development.
ERIE was one of only 79 organizations worldwide to earn the honor this year.
“We’re grateful for this recognition understanding that it reflects Erie Insurance’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development at every level of the company,” said ERIE’s vice president of Learning & Development, Kevin Ray. “ERIE’s Learning & Development team does remarkable work to drive and improve our program so that our employees have the knowledge and skills to support our independent agents and customers plus maximize their strengths, develop new capabilities and grow their career with ERIE.”
ERIE’s comprehensive learning and development program supports individual, organizational and customer service excellence. It includes skills training, professional and leadership development, advanced education, and pathways to earn licenses and insurance designations.
According to the awards criteria, ATD evaluated companies based on “quantitative and qualitative information about their talent development practices and program, and award recipients were selected following blind review by the BEST Awards advisory committee comprised of experts in the field.”
“These BEST organizations are driving impact and solving business challenges through talent development practices, and they are doing it in innovative ways,” said Tony Bingham, ATD president and CEO. “Senior leaders in these organizations understand the critical strategic role learning has and they are committed to investing in the growth and development of their people.”
