Callahan was an agent in Roanoke, Va. and will become vice president and branch manager of ERIE’s Knoxville, Tenn. sales team
Erie Insurance (ERIE) has named agent Josh Callahan as vice president and branch manager of the newly established Knoxville branch, effective Jan. 27.
Callahan’s appointment follows the recent announcement to open a new branch in Knoxville as Erie Insurance continues to grow in Tennessee. Dan Zdunski will continue to serve as vice president and branch manager in Nashville, while Callahan will now oversee the Knoxville branch's sales operations.
His agency, C Group Insurance, was launched in 2009. Initially located in Big Stone Gap, Va., Callahan grew the agency to six locations across the state over 15 years. He was a multiple Elite and Founders Award winner, a Quality Agency Award winner and achieved at least Silver Level life recognition for the past nine years. He is also a member of ERIE's Agent Life Insurance Task Force. He recently sold C Group Insurance to begin his career with Erie Insurance.
Callahan earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia's College at Wise.
