The Global ERG Network named Erie Insurance’s African American Affinity Network, Dignity & Respect Affinity Network and Pride Alliance Affinity Network “Top 3 ERGs for Community Impact, Workforce Education and Culture of Inclusion.” ERIE’s Veterans Affinity Network received “Top 10 Enterprise-Wide ERGs and Councils” award recognition.
Erie Insurance affinity network leaders will be recognized at the GEN Annual Conference held in November in Tucson, Ariz.
“We’re honored that our Employee Resource Groups have been recognized with Global ERG Network IMPACT Awards,” said Aaysha Noor, ERIE’s vice president for Inclusion and Belonging. “Our Affinity Networks are vital engines of insight, connection and progress that help us understand diverse perspectives and cultivate an inclusive environment that drives our business forward.”
Since the award program’s beginning in 2020, several of Erie Insurance’s affinity networks have received Impact Awards.
“Through our affinity networks, ERIE employees turn passion into purpose and create space for all voices and perspectives,” said ERIE’s Corporate Sustainability & Community Development Officer Christy Blashock. “We are deeply honored by this recognition of their efforts. It affirms the extraordinary work our affinity networks do to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.”
The 2025 IMPACT Awards are scored using the ERG Strategic Impact Model which represents key areas that ERGs, BRGs and councils should focus on to drive organizational results. According to GEN’s award criteria, organizations were chosen from hundreds of submissions.
GEN is powered by Tapestry Partner Solutions which designs systems that drive retention, belonging and leadership development. “Honorees exemplify bold, systems-level thinking and community-driven impact through the six pillars of IMPACT: Innovate, Measure, Progress, Activate, Collaborate and Transform,” said Anna Ettin, executive officer at Tapestry Partner Solutions. “These groups are innovating and elevating business performance, deepening workplace belonging and strengthening communities. The GEN IMPACT Awards honor the depth of their strategies and the strength of their execution.”
