Eligibility
A Women & Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE) is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is at least 51% owned by a US citizen, operated, and controlled by a woman or women, minority or minorities.

Tier 2 Reporting Form
The Tier 2 Reporting Form is used by Erie Insurance suppliers for submitting diverse spend to Erie Insurance. Reporting is required to be completed within one month after the end of each calendar year.

Does Erie Insurance guarantee business for diverse suppliers?
No, Erie Insurance does not guarantee business to any supplier. Erie Insurance is committed to providing opportunities for diverse suppliers to compete and provide value-added products and services to Erie Insurance.
How do diverse suppliers learn about upcoming opportunities to work with Erie Insurance?
We welcome all diverse suppliers who want to work with us to register via the Diverse Supplier Registration Form. After registering, we will keep your information for reference when opportunities become available. At that time, we may contact you for additional information regarding your competencies and any clarification needed regarding your profile information.
What criteria does Erie Insurance use in selecting a minority supplier?
If there is a match between the products and services your business provides and our procurement needs, you may be contacted by a member of the Sourcing and Vendor Management Department. Although there may not be immediate opportunities available for your business, your information will remain in our database for 36 months.
Suppliers will be selected as part of the procurement and sourcing processes consistent with the sourcing strategy in place for that commodity. All suppliers will be evaluated against the same requirements related to quality, cost and delivery standards.
What are the next steps after I register with Erie Insurance?
Once you have completed the registration, your information is made available to Erie Insurance Sourcing and Vendor Management. A member of the SVM organization may reach out to you if opportunities become available which match your profile.
I have submitted a Diverse Supplier Registration Form, but I have not heard back from Erie Insurance regarding opportunities. What should I do next?
Registration does not guarantee your organization will be selected to deliver products or services to Erie Insurance. We will keep your information in the database for 36 months in order to contact you if opportunities become available which match your profile.
What do I need to do if I need to update my information?
Submit a new Diverse Supplier Registration Form so we can have your most current information.
