Getting Your Auto Insurance ID Card

If you need to provide proof of insurance and you can’t find your auto insurance policy, we can help.

ERIE customers* may print temporary auto insurance ID cards by registering for an account and logging in. To get started, you’ll need to share personal information with us, including your name, address, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number. For your username, use your email address.

*If you live in New York, you’ll have to contact us to request a copy of your insurance ID card.

The ID cards provide basic auto insurance information, such as the driver and vehicle insured and policy effective dates. ERIE mails a printed copy of an auto insurance ID card to customers’ homes as part of the insurance policy renewal.
