The two cities that define Pennsylvania are located on opposite sides of the state. In the southeastern corner, Philadelphia is a living representation of American history. The Liberty Bell is an iconic landmark, along with other historic sites like Independence Hall. A few hundred miles away, Pittsburgh features a working-class feel but offers plenty of its own attractions. The Carnegie Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum are just a couple of many great destinations. At Erie Insurance, we offer auto coverage for Pennsylvania drivers who can’t wait to get out and see their state.
Since 1925, ERIE has been providing drivers in Pennsylvania with auto insurance coverage that has dozens of extra auto policy features (many at no additional cost to you) and flexibility that lets you customize your auto policy to best fit your needs.
As a driver in Pennsylvania, you may need:
Stacking coverage allows you to increase the amount of uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage by the number of vehicles on your auto insurance policy.
If you select the stacked option in Pennsylvania, limits can be added together for each auto insured. For example, the stacked coverage limits are $15,000 per person and $30,000 per accident for each car you insure. If you owned two vehicles, then the stacked coverage is $30,000/$60,000. There is an additional cost to stack coverage.
If you select the unstacked option, the stated limits apply per accident regardless of the number of autos you insure. In the example above, the $15,000/$30,000 limits apply.
In addition to the coverage you need, ERIE also offers discounts to help reduce your rates.
Cheap auto insurance doesn’t have to mean poor protection and service. Erie Insurance provides affordable car insurance with plenty of opportunities to reduce and avoid increases to your car insurance costs while maintaining quality coverage—all from an insurer that’s recognized for customer service and financial stability.
