 Here's an overview of some of the benefits available for full-time employees.

Health Protection Plan
Health Protection Plan
Medical and pharmacy coverage is available for you and your eligible dependents. Options include one of two PPO plan options or a Consumer Directed Health Plan (CDHP) option with a Health Savings Account (HSA). For CDHP participants, ERIE provides a HSA contribution of $750 for individual coverage or $1,500 for all other coverage levels. 
Prescription Plan
Prescription Plan
Coverage is included if enrolled in a health protection plan. If enrolled in a PPO plan, you pay a copayment or coinsurance amount for each prescription. If enrolled in the CDHP, you pay the full cost of the prescription until your deductible is met, and then coinsurance begins. Enrollees can save by using formulary and generic drugs (automatically substituted, when available). Enrollees can obtain up to a 90-day supply at a network retail pharmacy or through mail service pharmacy. Maintenance medications are available through mail service for a 90-day supply and refills for up to a year.
Dental Assistance Plan

Covers preventative and diagnostic services. Covers a portion of orthodontic treatments.
Vision Care Plan
Vision Care Plan
Provides benefits for annual exams and standard lenses, and offers an allowance toward frames or contacts for you and your eligible dependents.
Pre-Tax Payment Plan
Pre-Tax Payment Plan
Allows eligible employees to set aside pre-tax income to help pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care and/or dependent day care expenses.
Employee Assistance Program
Employee Assistance Program
Provides direct access for employees (and their household members) to receive comprehensive, personalized and confidential financial, medical or mental health counseling, resources and educational services. Receive up to then face-to-face counseling sessions a year per incident, per household member at no cost to employees. ERIE pays the full cost of this program; there is no cost to employees.

401(k) Savings Plan

ERIE matches up to 4% of your contribution. 100% vesting of employee and employer contributions as soon as they are made.
Pension Plan
Pension Plan
Traditional defined benefit pension plan paid for by ERIE with full vesting for eligible employees after five years of employment. An Employee's retirement benefit is based on their total years of credited service (up to 30 years), their 36 consecutive months of base pay that produces the highest average out of the last 120 months of employment with ERIE, their age when benefits commence, election of survivor benefits and other factors. Early retirement is available after age 55 and at least 15 years of credited service.
Financial Coaching
Financial Coaching
ERIE provides a comprehensive, confidential financial coaching program through professional coaches to help our employees build a strong financial foundation and plan for their financial future. ERIE currently pays the cost for this coverage and it is effective the first day of employment.
Basic Life Insurance
Basic Life Insurance
Basic term life insurance at no cost to employees, effective the first day of employment. Benefit is equal to one and a half times an employee’s annual salary up to a maximum of $750,000. Several voluntary coverage options are available for purchase (i.e., dependent life insurance, supplemental life insurance and AD&D).
Critical Illness Coverage
Critical Illness Coverage
Pays a lump-sum cash benefit directly to you following the diagnosis of a covered critical illness. You receive cash benefits directly to help pay bills related to treatment or to use for everyday living expenses. Employees can purchase coverage for themselves and their spouse. This coverage automatically includes eligible dependent child(ren) under the age of 26.

Employees can purchase protection for themselves and eligible dependents against identity theft and cyber-bullying.

Paid Time Off

At ERIE, we offer employees everything from traditional paid vacation to sick time and more.

10 Paid Holidays

New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas. Plus, full-time employees get 4 floating holidays per year.

New parents are eligible for two weeks of paid leave in the first year after birth or adoption.

ERIE offers a variety of tools to support professional development including tuition reimbursement, which is available for eligible employees.
Flexible Work Schedules & Telecommuting
With a workweek of 37.5 hours, some employees may have options for alternate work schedules, like working from home or working a compressed workweek, based on business needs.
Wellness Programs
Employees and spouses on ERIE's health plan can each earn $250 for completing an annual wellness program. You'll also have access to fitness contests, a variety of exercise classes, annual company-paid flu vaccine and biometric screenings.
Adoption Assistance/Assisted Fertility Procedures Programs
ERIE provides employees with financial assistance in connection with an eligible adoption; and health plan coverage for assisted fertility procedures.
