AHA’s highest-level national award recognizes ERIE’s commitment to a culture of employee wellness
ERIE, Pa., February 14, 2025 – Erie Insurance (ERIE) earned national Platinum level recognition from the American Heart Association for its commitment to building a culture of employee health and well-being as measured in the Association’s 2024 Workforce Well-being Scorecard™.
ERIE has earned the highest-level Workforce Well-being award for more than 10 straight years and achieving platinum recognition puts ERIE among the top 11% of participating companies nationally.
The Workforce Well-being Scorecard evaluates factors such as a company’s mental health support, well-being strategies to address burnout, health equity measures, employee compensation, benefits and other factors that contribute to a healthy and effective workplace.
“Our devotion to employee health and well-being demonstrates our deeply rooted commitment and longstanding tradition of caring for the entire Erie Insurance family,” said ERIE Benefits Analyst MaryAnn Marchant, who coordinates several of the company’s health and well-being programs.
ERIE employees have access to comprehensive health and wellness programs that include annual biometric health screenings, health risk assessments, mental health and emotional well-being, lifestyle and condition management coaching, as well as programs that encourage exercise, healthy eating and yearly medical and dental exams.
“We’re proud of this recognition and the benefits we provide to help our employees and their families enhance their health and well-being,” said Jody Irwin, ERIE’s director of benefits. “The AHA’s Workforce Well-being Scorecard supports our culture of physical, financial and emotional wellness for the people dedicated to serving our agents and customers.”
